On October 10, one of the largest clients in our portfolio needed to update the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system to the latest version. The data on this desktop PC is saved over the network to a SynologyNAS backup solution. As you can see in the picture below, this NAS has been running for more than four and a half months, and all of this computer's past backups were completed successfully.
The SynologyNAS was set up by abc-IT at the beginning of the year with the following:
- RAM upgrade from 2GB to 6GB
- RAID configuration for 2 4TB HDDs intended for NAS use, in Synology Hybrid RAID
- installation and connection of a UPS for the Synology NAS, to which the other network devices were also connected: ONT, router, switch, and a thin client PC
